I tried in in photoshop as well and it did the same thing. Thanks for your help,. Instead of opening in preview, try opening in a browser like Chrome. This should play the gif file for you. What a great piece of expert advice. I had never come across Terminal before in fact nore anything else in the utilities folder. Thank you for the knowhow. From there you just get the raw GIF that you can save, drag or whatever else you may want to do with it. Thanks a lot!!
Still works like a charm i. Works in Windows The simple approach worked great. It took me a bit to figure out I needed to paste the Giphy URL into a browser bar in order to edit it they way you describe before I copied and pasted it into my Shopify email marketing image upload section.
Once there, use click on the frame you want to trim, click on the Split button and drag the tab blue tab that appears on the frame to the left to remove the frame.
Click on done. The video will be converted into a streamlined GIF. Use your app's color reduction tool to reduce the number of colors in each frame to or less for the best speed. Most apps with this feature have a box where you type in the number of colors you want your GIF to use or a slider to adjust the number accordingly. Your app doesn't have this option? Upload your video to GIFCreator.
Once you have your GIF just the way you want it, it's time to reduce its size some more. Their site is sooo retarded, I already had to register three times their site is stupid just to download older versions.. Edit: All I can find is the 7. I don't see anything stupid about it, it ensures that people with Java already installed only need a small 'patch' to update to the newest version instead of a full download including the stuff they've already got.
That would be stupid I think the main download page is here , and it also has links to check your current installation is working as it should. If you use bit and bit programs interchangeably, then you'll need to install both versions of Java which can become troublesome, since whichever one you install second usually detects the first one and likes to inform you as such multiple times. Hope that helps.
From then on out, as long as you update Java, rather than trying to install a newer version, it will only grab the small update file s which I suspect you've been trying to use up til this point. Also, I don't think you should have needed to register anywhere to get the files from the official, and legitimate Java. The link you provided was where I downloaded it from, and where I had to register to download archived versions. Sooo, basically I'm screwed then. Unless I reinstall Windows and I don't have a hardrive to save my stuff too,.
I tried to update from. Updating to. Try a little googling - really it shouldn't be that difficult to resolve.
